About:
Hello...! I've been active as a professional cellist since I was 18. I had the opportunity to study privately for three years with Professor Lesser in Boston at the New England Conservatory. My memories from those cherished lessons become more valuable and inspiring with each passing year !
Current Primary Activity(ies):
At 61, much of my professional life has already been played, as it were! I'm glad that there are many recordings of my work that have somehow been preserved. You can hear me on YouTube too! Larry was good to encourage my solo and chamber playing..it has sustained and challenged me for many happy years behind the cello. I have been a member of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra since 1988 and served as founding Principal Cello for the New Century Chamber Orchestra for 10 years.
