About:
I live in Boston with my husband John Gibbons, and have two children, Clara (26)and Isaac (19). After studying at NEC I went to SUNY Stony Brook where I got my Doctorate and then freelanced in NYC for four years. I moved back to Boston when I married John and I have loved living here and being active as a cellist, teacher and chamber music coach at NEC at the Preparatory School. I have taught there for 30 years!! A few of my students have had the wonderful fortune of studying with Larry at the college and that is a great feeling! For about 15 years I also directed summer chamber music programs for students in the Boston area. It has been a big passion of mine to introduce chamber music to young students and see them grow to love it and enjoy it as much as I did when I was their age! I still have many friends and colleagues that studied with Larry and it is a great bond and community of people.
